Great museum Many locally made vehicles

Great collection of cars, including early electric models (who knew?). There's also a full-size back-in-the-day diner, gas station and other car-centric exhibits. Boyertown is a nice place to walk around, have lunch, etc.

This museum is awesome. I don't consider myself to be a huge car buff, but the collection was impressive with rare autos in fantastic condition and a few unique one-of-a-kind cars. I happened to be there when it was slow [less than 5 other guests] and one of the employees or docent or whatever his title is, showed me around and answered all of my questions. I learned a lot from his explanations of subtle changes as the vehicles transitioned from improving technologies. If you're into old and rare cars, you need to check this place out.

This place was so fun! Great for families too! We had a blast learning about historical vehicles, exploring both floors and the cool diner.

This is a gem of a museum in boyertown Pennsylvania. I was so amazed to find out how many vehicles and trucks particularly army trucks during World War II were made right here in boyertown. During the 1950s the factory that was in the location of where the museum is now made all of the mail trucks for the US Post Office. This factory even made electric vehicles in the 1960s that were used by delivery companies and utility companies. They were way ahead of their time. The museum even has a few electric cars and trucks from the 1910s. Don't put this museum trip off. Like so many private museums today, it could be gone in a heartbeat. This is not a small Museum. There is even an exhibition of the carriage works that also operated in this location before gasoline powered vehicles were invented.

Pretty cool collection of cars and trucks, I enjoyed talking with a volunteer, Chuck Byler. Had a few interesting stories to go with some of the vehicles in the museum. Everyone should visit!

I'm not a car person, but I found this place really interesting as I learned a lot about history. A volunteer spent a lot of time with us, sharing about the vehicles in the museum and answering our questions. (If a guy named Dave offers to talk to you about the cars, say yes! He's incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour an engaging experience). We didn't make it through the whole collection, but we'd come back to see the rest.
